The present study aims to refine the understanding of Benevolent Childhood Experiences (BCEs) by incorporating children's perspectives, which are often absent from existing literature. Using four focus groups—each with four children aged 11–14, this study explores children's views on what constitutes BCEs and the factors that foster resilience and well‐being. Thematic analysis of the focus groups discussions highlight the importance of autonomy, supportive relationships and effective coping with external pressures in shaping positive childhood experiences. By integrating these insights, we propose a more inclusive and child‐centred approach to defining and measuring BCEs, which may inform future research and interventions aimed at promoting children's resilience and well‐being.\n"]
