Grounded in Feminist Political Ecology, it examines the everyday experiences of women in the Sundarbans—a region marked by ecological vulnerability and socio‐economic precarity. Based on 30 semi‐structured qualitative interviews with women in the different settlements in the region and thematic analysis, the study highlights how women's agency is shaped by structural constraints, livelihood strategies and care work. Despite their physical rootedness, these women's lives reflect agency and adaptation.\n"]
