Leveraging the differential implementation of state‐level policies and detailed criminal incident data, we estimate that eviction moratoria decreased reported IPV by 12% relative to the pre‐treatment average. These results are driven by a 28% reduction in IPV against Black women, who are disproportionately the targets of eviction. We also contribute to the literature by constructing a more comprehensive, up‐to‐date dataset on eviction moratoria in the United States.\n"]
